Three months of social, planned in one sitting

CalendarEasy90 minutes per quarter

What this fixes: Stale social · Inconsistent posting · No social presence · No build content

Posting daily is not the goal and it is why most contractor accounts quit. Two or three posts a week, planned in advance from jobs you already photographed, beats daily improvisation every time.

Sit down once a quarter with the photo folders from the jobs you have done. Everything you need is already there.

The rotation

Week 1: project progress from a current job Week 2: before and after from a finished job, same camera angle Week 3: something educational, one question answered in thirty seconds Week 4: people. Crew, owner, the shop, the trucks

Repeat. Drop in seasonal posts as the calendar demands.

By season

Late winter: design and planning, cleanout booking, what a build looks like start to finish Spring: cleanouts, first builds of the year, fish waking up, planting Summer: finished features with water running, algae answers, maintenance, night lighting Fall: netting, leaf management, winterization, next year planning, a year in review

Caption formulas that work

The build note: what it is, where, one interesting problem, what solved it. The question: ask what they get asked on site, answer it in three lines. The before and after: one line on what it was, one line on what it is. The honest one: something that went wrong and what you learned. These outperform polished posts consistently.

What performs in this trade specifically

Water running, with real sound and no music. Vertical. Fifteen seconds. Before and after from the same angle. The dig, especially with a machine. Fish and wildlife showing up. Herons, frogs, dragonflies. The owner talking to the camera, unedited.

What to skip

Stock photos. Motivational quotes. Anything with a music bed over a nice pond. Posting for the sake of the streak.

Same details everywhere

Business name, phone, and website identical across every profile, matching your website and your phone number. Bio says what you do and where you do it.
